Terms of Service
1. Account Registration & Eligibility
To access certain features of MyOVL, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Age requirements: MyOVL is not intended for children under 13. If your local law requires a higher minimum age (including for data processing), that higher age applies.
- Account security: You are responsible for all activity under your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
- No impersonation: You must not impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with any person or entity.
2. User Responsibilities
- Use the Platform for lawful and ethical purposes only.
- Respect intellectual property rights and the rights of other users.
- Maintain confidentiality of your account information.

3. Prohibited Activities
- Uploading viruses, malware, or harmful code.

- Abusing reporting/moderation tools or engaging in coordinated harassment.
- Using MyOVL to scam, defraud, or deceive others.
- Violating applicable laws, including copyright, privacy, and data protection laws.
- Scraping or harvesting user data without permission.
4. Content Rules (Safety & Legality)
You must not upload, post, or distribute Content that:
- Exploits or endangers children (zero tolerance).
- Incites violence, terrorism, or extremist violence.
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual exploitation.
- Includes hate speech, targeted harassment, threats, or doxxing.
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Promotes illegal activities or provides instructions for serious wrongdoing.
Context matters. Certain sensitive content may be permitted for educational, documentary, or news purposes, but could be limited, age-restricted, or reviewed.
5. Intellectual Property (Platform vs. Creator Content)
MyOVL’s software, design, trademarks, and branding are owned by MyOVL or its licensors. Creators retain ownership of their uploaded Content, subject to the licence below.
6. Licence You Grant to MyOVL
By uploading Content, you grant MyOVL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce (for technical purposes), stream, display, distribute, and make your Content available on the Platform. This includes technical processing such as encoding, formatting, and generating previews/thumbnails to operate the service.
This licence continues for as long as your Content remains on MyOVL, except where retention is required for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Fair Treatment & Mutual Responsibility
At MyOVL, creators’ hard work and talent are respected. We aim to apply rules consistently, avoid arbitrary removals, and provide clearer moderation decisions whenever possible.
In return, creators and viewers are expected to uphold the same values: respect others’ rights, opinions, and safety. Mutual respect supports a platform where creators can thrive without fear of unfair disruption.
Fairness is not “no rules”: MyOVL still enforces safety, legality, and community standards. We aim to do so transparently and proportionately.
Moderation, Enforcement & Appeals
1. Enforcement Actions
Depending on severity and history, MyOVL may take actions including:
- Warnings and education
- Content removal
- Visibility limitation or age restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent termination for serious or repeated violations
2. Immediate Action Exceptions
We may act immediately without prior notice when required by law or necessary to protect users or the Platform (including child safety, credible threats, fraud, or security incidents).
3. Appeals
Where legally and technically feasible, you may appeal an Account Action by contacting us with the relevant details. We aim to review appeals fairly and consistently.
Copyright, DMCA & IP
MyOVL respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorisation, contact us with sufficient information to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and your contact details.
Where applicable (including DMCA-style frameworks), repeat infringers may face restrictions or termination. Where permitted by law, users may submit counter-notices or disputes.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyOVL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including certain consumer rights and mandatory legal protections.
Suspension & Termination
You may stop using MyOVL at any time and may request account closure. MyOVL may suspend or terminate accounts and/or remove content for policy violations, legal compliance, security reasons, or repeated breaches. Where possible, we provide the reason and an appeal route.
Changes to Terms & Privacy Policy

Governing Law
